Mica is a licensed clinical professional with a diverse background of working both in an office and in the backcountry with adolescents and adults. She received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Idaho and her M.A. in Transpersonal Counseling with a concentration in wilderness therapy from Naropa University.
Mica prefers to utilize a holistic approach with clients, bringing in aspects from various therapies such as Parts Work (Internal Family System and is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART has been recognized as an effective psychotherapy for PTSD, depression, stress, and personal resilience. She focuses on bringing her client’s system back into balance and believes building self-awareness is a key to healing. Mica has experience working with many mental health diagnoses including depression, anxiety and PTSD.
When she is not working, Mica loves to backpack and hang with her dogs.
